It was in 2000 that the Davis family enters the quartz processing business when they are presented with the opportunity to purchase quartz processing equipment.

What is Quartz?

Quartz is a natural stone that is less porous than it’s cousin Granite (which is usually only made up of 40%-60% quartz). Cambria countertops are made up of 93% natural quartz stone and 7% other man-made materials. Quartz countertops are non-porous which means that they do not need to be sealed, oiled, polished, or refinished over time! While this material is more expensive than other countertops materials, it does boast many qualities that can’t be found in other stone materials like low maintenance and a wider range of colors – over 100, in fact!
