What sizes are available in-stock?
We carry a full run of base and wall cabinet sizes for all three in-stock styles. That includes standard base cabinets from 9” to 36” wide, wall cabinets, sink bases, blind corner cabinets, and tall pantry cabinets. Can I take in-stock cabinets home the same day?
Yes — that’s the whole idea. Our in-stock cabinets are fully assembled and ready to load into your vehicle or truck. Many customers visit the store in the morning and start installing that same afternoon. We can help you plan your cabinet count and layout before you come in so you’re in and out quickly.
What’s the difference between in-stock and semi-custom cabinets?
In-stock cabinets are fully assembled and ready to take home today — no wait, no order, no lead time. They come in a fixed set of sizes and finishes. Semi-custom cabinets like our Ginger Creek, Waypoint, and Wellborn lines give you far more options for wood species, door styles, finishes, and configurations — but they require a brief lead time after ordering. For most straightforward kitchen layouts, in-stock cabinets are a fantastic value that get the job done fast.
How do I finish the Unfinished Maple Shaker cabinets?
The Unfinished Maple Shaker is designed to be painted or stained to your exact preference. Sand lightly, apply a primer coat, then your finish color of choice — latex, oil, or chalk paint all work well on maple. You can also apply a wood stain directly for a warm natural finish. Our design team can walk you through the finishing options when you visit.
Do you offer design help for in-stock kitchen layouts?
Absolutely. Our kitchen designers offer free design appointments at both the Louisville and Florence locations. Even for an in-stock kitchen, a quick layout review can save you from costly mistakes and make sure you get the right sizes the first time.
