“Lisa Gibson did an excellent job designing our Kitchen. We went with in-stock bare cabinets, painted ourselves. Installed butcher block for our countertop. Loralee Latham was a big help with our flooring. We went with Luxury Vinyl — looks wonderful with our cabinets. Will definitely be back!”

Kitchen Remodel — Frequently Asked Questions
What kitchen cabinet brands do you carry?
We carry three semi-custom lines — Ginger Creek (our exclusive brand), Waypoint, and Wellborn — plus in-stock white shaker and slate gray shaker cabinets you can take home the same day. Call your nearest store to confirm current in-stock availability.
What’s the difference between in-stock and semi-custom cabinets?
In-stock cabinets are fully assembled and ready to take home today — no wait. Semi-custom cabinets are ordered to your exact specifications: you choose the wood species, door style, finish, and configuration. Semi-custom lines have short lead times and significantly more options than in-stock, but require a brief wait after ordering.
Do you carry kitchen cabinets in stock to take home today?
Yes — we carry in-stock white shaker and slate gray shaker cabinets in a full range of base and wall sizes, fully assembled and ready for immediate pickup. Stop in or call us at 502-968-8858 (Louisville) or 859-261-3111 (Florence) to confirm what’s available today.
What kitchen countertops do you carry?
We carry a full range of countertop options to fit every budget and style. For in-stock, take-home-today options we carry laminate countertops and butcher block — both available off the floor with no wait. For stone, we are an authorized dealer for Cambria (premium American-made quartz) and Enhance countertops, our exclusive line of quartz available only at Builders Surplus. Beyond that, we can source virtually anything — granite, quartzite, soapstone, and more — so you can pair the perfect top with your new cabinets and let us handle the whole project. One stop, one team, and a ton of savings.
Can you help me plan my kitchen remodel?
Absolutely — and our level of service goes well beyond what you’ll find anywhere else. We offer free kitchen design appointments at both our Louisville and Florence locations. But here’s what makes us different: when you work with one of our designers, you get their direct phone number. That means you can call or text them at any point during your project — whether you have a question about measurements, need to add a cabinet, or just want a second opinion before you start painting. Our designers stay with you from first visit through final install. Nobody else offers this kind of hands-on, personal service. Leave your info on this page or call us to get started today.
