9″ x 60″ Katella Ash Luxury Vinyl Flooring Cyrus XL 5MM – 12MIL

MSI Cyrus XL Katella Ash Luxury Vinyl Plank: 9 x 60 in., 5mm with Attached Pad

Katella Ash from the MSI Everlife Cyrus XL collection is an extra-wide, extra-long rigid core vinyl plank with subtle gray tones, realistic knots and graining. Each plank is 9 in. x 60 in., so you get a wide-plank look with fewer seams. It is 5mm thick: a 4mm SPC core plus a 1mm IXPE pad attached to the back, under a 12 mil wear layer.

Cyrus XL has MSI’s CrystaLux protective layer and a click locking system for glueless floating installation. MSI rates it 100% waterproof and backs it with a lifetime residential and 6-year light commercial warranty.

It is part of the Big Floor Event at Builders Surplus, and quantities are limited. We stock it at both Builders Surplus stores, in Louisville and Florence, KY.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need underlayment?
No. A 1mm IXPE pad is attached to every plank. Over concrete, ask our team about a moisture barrier.

How many boxes do I need?
Each box covers 22.44 sq. ft. Divide your square footage by 22.44, add 5–10% for cuts (a bit more for long planks in small rooms), and round up.

Is a 9 x 60 plank harder to install?
The click system is the same as standard planks, but long planks need a flat subfloor. Plan on leveling high and low spots before you start.
