9mm w/pad Silk Spire Oak Water-Resistant Hybrid Resilient Flooring 7.56 in. Wide x 50.63 in. Long

Silk Spire Oak Hybrid Flooring: 9mm Plank with Attached Pad

Silk Spire Oak is a hybrid resilient floor with a soft, light oak look with subtle grain and a gentle neutral tone. Each plank is 9mm total: a 7mm core plus a 2mm attached pad. The planks are 7.56 in. x 50.63 in., so you get a wide-plank hardwood look with fewer seams. A carton covers 23.9 sq. ft.

The planks click together and float over the subfloor. The pad is already attached, so you skip a separate underlayment step. The textured surface is designed to resist scratches, dents and everyday spills.

It is part of the Big Floor Event at Builders Surplus, and quantities are limited. We stock it at our Louisville, KY store.

Where It Works

This floor suits homeowners, landlords and DIYers who want a hardwood look without the cost or upkeep of real wood. It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens and finished basements, and in busy homes with kids and pets. It is not made for wet areas like showers or rooms that flood.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an underlayment with Silk Spire Oak?
No separate foam underlayment is needed because a pad is already attached to each plank. Over concrete or in a basement, ask our flooring team about moisture prep before you install.

How many cartons do I need?
Each carton covers 23.9 sq. ft. Divide your room’s square footage by 23.9 and round up. Most installers add 5–10% extra for cuts. Since stock is limited, buy all you need at once.

Can I install it myself?
Yes. The planks click together and float over the subfloor, so it is a common DIY project. If you would like help, Builders Surplus offers free flooring consultations in Louisville and Florence, KY.
