Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need underlayment?
No separate pad is needed because one is attached. Over concrete, ask our team whether a moisture barrier is recommended.

What does a 22 mil wear layer mean?
The wear layer is the clear protective top coat. At 22 mil it is thicker than most residential vinyl, which helps with scratches and heavy traffic.

Can I install it myself?
Yes. The Uniclic Multifit planks lock and float over a flat subfloor, so it is a common DIY job. Free consultations are available at our stores.
