Pelican makes its Crystallite Series sinks in Germany from pure quartz sand bound with a high-grade acrylic resin. The finished material is about 85% natural quartz, the hardest component of granite, which gives granite composite its dense, stone-like surface. Pelican states that these sinks are UV stable and resistant to scratches, stains and impacts, and that each sink includes a natural silver-ion hygiene protection system designed to inhibit bacteria and fungi.

Onyx is a deep, solid black that anchors light cabinetry, pairs naturally with matte black or stainless faucets, and helps disguise everyday water spots.
